Nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.
This is the statement God spoke in Genesis 11:6 regarding the people who came together to build a city and a tower whose top would reach the heavens.
At first glance, when you read Genesis 11:1–9, it appears to be a powerful example of teamwork. But when you look a little deeper, you realize the people were actually moving against what God had already purposed.
In verse 4 the people said, “Let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered upon the whole earth.” This shows that they were aware of God’s plan, yet they still chose their own way—revealing a spirit of rebellion.
This serves as a reminder for us today. Teamwork is a powerful tool, and there is great strength in unity. However, our unity should always be centered on advancing God’s agenda rather than promoting our own.
Let us come together, not to make a name for ourselves, but to glorify the name of the Lord and fulfill His purpose.

Amen, God must be our focus and the head not just in words but in action and we must follow his instructions in pure obedience.
This is a very powerful observation, that they were still walking out disobedience even after God destroyed everything in the world, except what was inside the Ark. Which shows and even more deeper issue of man, the lurking dragon that deceived Adam and Eve in the garden is still at work in Gods people.
